Policies Any services scheduled with us means that you have fully read and agreed to the policies below. ⊱✿⊰ A $20 deposit is required to secure your appointment, this will go towards your service total. This deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and an additional $20 deposit will be required to reschedule. ⊱✿⊰ We are a gel exclusive studio and do not offer removal services for acrylic work or foreign work. If you are a first time client, please arrive with bare nails. ⊱✿⊰ Please let your artist know if you are running late. Depending on how late you arrive, a simpler design or change of service may be necessary. Please be mindful of our time, and plan your commute to your appointment accordingly. ⊱✿⊰ 15+ minutes late with no notice will be considered a no-show, and 30% of your appointment's total must be paid in order to book again. ⊱✿⊰ We do not perform medical services, or toenail restorations. If you suspect you may have an underlying foot or hand condition [i.e. warts, open wounds, active bacterial or fungal infections, etc.] please do not book a pedicure service and consult a podiatrist and/or dermatologist for treatments. We have the right to deny beautician services, and will turn down any clients suspected to have a foot or nail condition that may put the salon and other clientele at risk of contamination. If you are unsure if you have a condition that may affect your ability to get services, please consult the “stories” tab of our instagram page @faeristudio_nails before you book an appointment with us. ⊱✿⊰ Your artist will automatically deny beautician services to people with diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, neuropathy, compromised immune systems, or active skin conditions for a manicure or pedicure service. This is to ensure the safety of the client and the salon. ⊱✿⊰ Do not wax or shave at least 48 hours before a pedicure service. Both methods create invisible micro-tears, open hair follicles, and tiny cuts in the skin. During the service the foot and lower leg is exfoliated using a scrub – therefore infection, or skin irritation may occur if not enough time was given for the skin to heal. ⊱✿⊰ We only perform nail services for clients 16 or older. However, if you want to bring children, they are welcome in the studio as long as they have something to occupy themselves during your nail service. ⊱✿⊰ We will check in at each step of your appointment. Please approve your design and color before curing, as gel is permanent once cured. If you request changes after your nails are cured—despite prior approval—a $15 correction fee will apply. ⊱✿⊰ Our artists may refuse service or end an appointment if client behavior crosses acceptable boundaries. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or explicit language, threats, harassment, or unwanted physical contact, which results in an immediate studio ban. Mutual respect is expected in our professional environment. ⊱✿⊰We provide free repairs within 7 days of your appointment. After that, repairs cost $5 to $10 per nail based on the design. ⊱✿⊰ A 2.6% processing fee applies to all card payments. To avoid this, cash or zelle is preferred.
